I know Droplr doesn't support Android but is there any way to 'access' my files using a link?
Hey guys,
I love that Droplr supports pretty much all platforms that I heavily use; however I was wondering if there was any creative way to access my files using a URL link to download my files.
Right now, I'd go to the link on my Galaxy Note and the only link I get is "Email Link"... I could understand that you guys won't be developing an Android app, but surely there should be a way to at least access the files using the web interface?
Thanks!

Figured it out. Just enabled "Desktop version" on my browser and the Download button came up.
If you could provide a better workaround, I'd like to hear it, otherwise you could close this ticket.
Thanks!

Hi Dewey,
I'm not sure I completely understand what you're asking for, but I'll give it my best shot :)
If you've viewing an actual "drop" on your Android device, you can just copy the URL from the address bar in whatever browser you're using and send that to anyone. If you're trying to access the "actual" file instead of just the view, append a "+" at the end of the URL and go there. So for instance, if you have a drop at http://d.pr/1234 and you want to get at the actual file instead of just the view, you can visit http://d.pr/1234+ - and then it's really up to your device on how it handles that filetype.
You should be able to log in to your account from https://droplr.com/hello and access all your files there. There's no "download" link on them, but it at least gives you a list of all your files with the ability to click their links and visit their pages. I haven't tested our web app on any Android device or browser, so I can't tell you how good it would work, but it works on iOS devices okay so hopefully it should work.
Apologies if that didn't answer your question. Feel free to let me know if it didn't.
Cheers
