Mountain Lion desktop icons

When I save a file to the desktop under Mountain Lion, the icon frequently doesn't show up. The file is there but there is no icon. Help

    Hi Jim,

    I'm not quite sure what you mean by "save a file to the desktop". Also, have you tried using our latest updated we just posted with 10.8 compatibility?
